I was born and raised in South East Florida, and have always been fascinated by health, biology, and nature. My passion led me to the medical field, and I was a double major in Biology and Psychology at Florida International University. I then transferred to the University of Miami, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree before heading to medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada. This was a pivotal moment in my life and one which confirmed my calling as a physician.?

During my third and fourth years in medical school, I took part in clinical rotations in NYC at the Elmhurst Hospital, Queens Hospital, and Kingsbrook Hospital. The incredible experiences I had during these rotations helped to set the early foundation of my knowledge of health and wellness.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?? ? ? ?
I graduated from medical school in June 2017 and now live in beautiful, sunny Miami. I am pursuing my Master’s Degree in Public Health before returning to residency. As a physician,? I am committed to health and wellness and enjoy healthy eating as well as physical activity. Up to 6 days a week, you will find me engaged in my latest exercise routine: from running and kickboxing to yoga, spinning, roller-skating, and swimming, I’m always keen to try new things! My most recent discovery is meditation, which I find very helpful for self-development.
But your exercise goals can go beyond fitness ?– all the way to health.??Just moving about for 30 minutes a day 5 times a week can do wonders for you!??Complement that with a healthy diet and you’re on the road to a healthy lifestyle.?
Eating healthy is so much more than the kinds of foods you eat, and also how you feel when you eat those healthier things. Food gives you energy!??Helps you sleep great (just like exercise), can make your skin glow and you will start to feel energetic and amazing all around. All these things must start from within;??your desire to feel great and lead a healthy life is exactly what I am all about.
